Project Overview
Moving out of a rental is stressful, and getting the bond back is always a top priority. The tenants of this classic Newtown terrace contacted us after living in the property for four years. The property had its charms but also its challenges: high ceilings, narrow staircases, and an older kitchen that had seen a lot of cooking.
We deployed a team of three to execute our real-estate-approved checklist. The kitchen was the primary focus. We dismantled the oven components and soaked them in our industrial degreaser while we tackled the greasy residue on top of the cabinets and the rangehood. The bathrooms required intensive mold treatment in the shower corners.
We also spot-cleaned the walls to remove scuff marks from furniture and thoroughly steam-cleaned the carpets in the bedrooms. The property manager inspected the house the following day and praised the condition of the home.
The tenants received their bond back in full without a single issue raised.
